Shakamak pushed across two runs in the bottom of seventh inning to edge North Central 2-1 in a Southwestern Indiana Athletic Conference baseball game at Jasonville on Monday night.
Braydon Kutch allowed five hits and two runs, both earned. He struck out nine and walked one.
“Braydon held them scoreless for the first six innings,” said North Central coach Joe Kutch. “But he couldn’t hold it.
“This was a tough loss.”
North Central only managed two hits - singles by Isaac Bonacorsi and Simon Tierney. Chase Wiseley scored the only North Central run, which came in the third.
“Our bats were dead,” said coach Kutch.
