Arrows roll past North Putnam
Sullivan pushed its winning streak to seven after a 17-3 victory at North Putnam on Wednesday night. The game was halted after five innings via the 10-run rule.
It was a non-conference game as the Arrows beat NP 11-1 in a Western Indiana Conference meeting at Sullivan on Tuesday.
The Golden Arrows improved to 9-2 as they scored 13 runs in their final two at bats.
Evan Conner went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs and two RBIs.
Allin Moore scored two runs and Jack Conner scored once.
Shane Garner added a run and one RBI.
Trevor Magill collected two hits, two runs and drove in three runs.
Chris Taylor singled and scored two runs and Eli Smith doubled and added one run and one RBI.
Dillon Kinnett contributed two runs, two RBIs and a base hit.
Mason Dean collected two hits and one run.
Sam Steimel added three runs and a base hit.
Michael Fraker tossed the first four innings, earning the victory. He allowed three runs, one earned.
He gave up four hits. He struck out three and walked two.
Kinnett threw a perfect fifth inning in relief.
The Golden Arrows will host Terre Haute South at 6 p.m. tonight.
