Dugger Union still searching for first victory

Dugger Union dropped to 0-6 after a 27-12 loss on the road against Southside Home School on Friday night in a high school football game.
It was the fourth consecutive year that the Crimson Knights, in their eighth season of playing high school football, defeated the Bulldogs.
Neal Gambill had a 49-yard interception return for a touchdown for the Bulldogs.
On offense, Dugger Union rushed for 151 yards, led by Brandon Smith. The senior had 10 rushes for 77 yards and one touchdown.
Smith also caught one pass for 10 yards, the only completion by the Bulldogs.
Bryar Marlow had 29 yards rushing on two carries. Jacob Cross had 11 rushes for 24 yards and Jackson Rogers had 21 yards on 13 attempts.
Cross led with 10 tackles and one sack.
Christian Bedwell had 6.5 tackles while Smith had 5.5 tackles and one sack. Rogers had 4.5 tackles and one sack.
Dalton Snyder had 3.5 tackles and one sack.
Marlow had two tackles, Grant Cox and Adam Deckard each had 1.5 tackles and Gambill and Case Steele each had one tackle.
The Bulldogs will host Indiana Deaf at 7 p.m. Friday.
