The Sullivan High School girls golf team slipped to 1-2 after a 227-255 lost to host South Vermillion at Geneva Hills Golf Course on Tuesday.
Courtney Lueking and Cara Gofourth each shot 60 for the Lady Arrows.
Bonnie Witt carded a 66 and  Peyton Sisil finished with a 69.
“Tonight was a tough night being our second long-distance match in a row,” said Sullivan coach Justin Ridge. “The girls did not play as well tonight but the course was difficult as well.
“Peyton continues to improve as our newest member and Bonnie played better tonight as well. Courtney continues to putt and chip well and when she puts it all together hopefully she can break into the 40s. Cara’s attitude has been great. These first few matches and her game continues to improve as well.”
Sullivan will play host to Western Indiana Conference foe West Vigo at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
