Bloomfield did not lose a set as the visiting Cardinals defeated Sullivan 5-0 in a high school boys tennis match.
“We came up short against a good Bloomfield team,” said Sullivan coach Jeff Lookebill. “It was senior night for Kegan (Meng).
“He had been playing in the No 1 singles spot all year. He has been wanting to play doubles the last couple weeks. It was his last home match so I put him at No. 1 doubles.”
The coach added that Kegan had a tough match but I think he had a good time anyway. “Kegan has played all four years for the Arrows and done a good job,” said Lookebill.
The Golden Arrows will play in the Northview Invitational on Saturday.
