Lady Arrows go 1-1

After losing a 6-5 decision in eight innings at Terre Haute South on Friday night, Sullivan rebounded for a 10-6 victory at Pike Central on Saturday in a high school softball game.
On Friday, Sullivan scored all of its runs in the fourth, taking a 5-4 lead. South tied the game with a single run in the seventh and won with a run in the bottom of the eighth with one out.
Reagan Holeman and Delainey Shorter each had two hits for the Arrows.
Gracie Shorter was 1-for-2 with two RBIs and Sydnee Hester went 1-for-3 and scored a run.
Sheyanna Ravellette and Maclynne Steele each contributed a hit and scored a run and Povlin had a single.
Kendal Edmondson tossed 7 1/3 innings, allowing nine hits and six unearned runs as the Lady Arrows were credited with making 11 errors. She struck out two and walked one.
The Lady Arrows (6-6) will host Owen Valley today starting with the varsity game at 5:45 p.m.
