Bill Springer received a plaque for his 30 years of service as the
Sullivan County Republican Chairman during the Lincoln Day Dinner at
the Merom Community Building on Saturday.

Above, Springer, second from left, is shown receiving the GOP award
from Cheryl Waterman, County Chairperson. Also on hand are U.S.
Congressman Larry Bucshon, left, and at right, Kaleb Westbrook, County
Vice-Chair and Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita.

Springer earned the Distinguished Hoosier Award, presented by the
Governor's Office, and the Yeti Orphanage Guardian Award, presented by
attorney Jeff Papa from the Statehouse, thanking him for many years of
support of the Yeti Orphanage and providing Christmas gifts for the
children over the years.

Guest speakers for the evening were Bucshon, Rokita and Diego Morales,
candidate for Secretary of State.
