Golden Arrows see improvement

The Sullivan High School boys soccer team opened the season today with an 8-1 loss at Vincennes Rivet.
“We played hard but we were outmatched in size and experience verses a veteran Rivet team,” said Sullivan coach Perry Thomas.
“We got on the scoreboard in the closing minutes with a goal from senior Lane Bogdan.”
Thomas said they will learn from this and move on to their first conference game, at 7 p.m. Thursday at West Vigo.
