Lady Arrows win, Golden Arrows lose
On Friday, host Washington scored all its runs in the sixth inning as the Hatchets defeated Sullivan (1-2) 5-0.
Cox had two hits and stole a base while Ryder Pinkston, Carter McKee and Rocco and Marcus Roshel each had one hit.
Steimel pitched five scoreless innings. He allowed two hits, struck out three and walked four.
Hawkins pitched the sixth inning, allowing two hits and five runs, just one earned as he suffered the loss. He fanned two and walked two.
Sullivan will host Terre Haute North at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Lady Arrows win in nine
Sullivan pushed across the winning run with two outs in bottom of the ninth inning as the Lady Arrows defeated visiting North Daviess 8-7 in a high school softball game on Friday night.
Kate Ridgway pitched the final four innings and earned the win. She struck out three and walked two. She also scored a run.
Kendall Edmondson tossed five innings. She allowed six hits and six runs, half of them earned. She struck out seven and walked two. She helped her own cause at the plate with two hits, including a home run, scored two runs and knocked in two runs.
Avery Wilterwood was 3-of-5 with a home run, two runs and two RBIs.
Gracie Shorter had one hit, one run and stole two bases and Jocey Wible had two hits and one RBI.
Alexis Grindstaff had a double and scored a run and Brooklyn Riley also had two hits, including a double, and one RBI.
The Lady Arrows (1-1) will host Terre Haute North at 5 p.m. today.
